With the right application, sealcoating will protect your asphalt or concrete surface for years to come. Follow these steps when applying a sealcoating product to ensure optimal performance:

1. Apply at least two coats of sealcoat.
2. Wait until temperatures are at least 50 degrees and rising for 24 hours before applying sealcoat. Do not apply if temperatures are forecasted to fall below 50 degrees within 24 hours of application.
3. Do not apply sealcoat if rain is imminent within the same 24 hour period—it must be dry before you begin spreading your sealer!
4. Allow your finished sealcoat to cure for 24 hours before allowing vehicle traffic back onto the surface!
